I am lucky enough to spend a lot of time in the water, whether I am coaching at Fistral Beach Surf School or surfing myself. I love to longboard and have competed in this for a couple of years, and have been english national champion, finishing 2nd in the UK last year. During the year normally have a few trips outside of Cornwall, this year I have been to Barbados and Bali where there were some awesome waves- and sun!

Looking after your ears is so important in surfing, and when you are using the water. I have a permanently perforated eardrum so have to make sure I look after my ears the whole time. SurfEars mean I can still chat to people in the water, and I can wear them the whole time when I am coaching unlike other earplugs. Having had so many problems with my own ears I am always getting surfers to look after theirs so they never have to miss time in the water because of ear problems.
