Surfer, Stockholm, Sweden

I’m a 18 year old surfer from Stockholm, Sweden. Most good surf here is usually in below 5 degree water. So being resistance to the cold and having a positive mind is key when surfing in Sweden. The size of the waves rarely goes above chest high, and when it does it’s choppy and messy. But I still love it! It’s something special about the surf here in Sweden. All surfers are really dedicated to it, and there’s always a lot of “stokednes” in the air when you roll up at the local spot. It’s nothing like any other place on earth. People here are actually excited to jump in almost zero degree water, with waves that are choppy and knee high. I came 1st in the Swedish junior nationals, and 8th in the Swedish open nationals.

I usually spend 2 months each summer in Indonesia surfing my guts off. Trying to make as much out of the warm water as possible. My dream is to be able to make a living out of surfing, and to move somewhere where the weather is warmer amd the waves are epic all day, everyday, all year around.

The SurfEars are truly lifesavers! When surfing in cold waters the water tends to find its way into your ears easily. When using the SurfEars the water won’t come into your ears. So with the SurfEars you have no excuse not to jump in the cold water. The SurfEars are also amazing in warmer waters. For example in Indonesia. When it rains a lot, the water picks up all the dirt on land and then flows out to the ocean. Then the surf can be extremely dirty. And you don’t want the dirty water in your ears. This could wreck your whole holiday if you get an ear infection. With the SurfEars there is no risk of this ever happening!
